Work I’ve done

I’ve been a web developer since the late ’90s, during which time I’ve had two web development books published and become a long-standing beta tester for Adobe. As a full–on geek, I’m passionate about web standards to the point that I lose sleep agonising over markup. Despite that, I also have a life and spend my spare time going to gigs, taking photos and cooking vegetarian meals, as my Flickr account will confirm.

Skillset

Front–End
Front–End Development is my primary function and I’m highly experienced in W3C–compliant (X)HTML(4|5) & CSS(2|3), JavaScript/jQuery.
Back–end
my back–end skills are hobby–level, but I can get by with the basics required in PHP & MySQL, ASP.NET/C#, Ruby on Rails.
Software
I hand–code with TextMate, Adobe Creative Suite (including: Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop); Microsoft Office.
Version control
I’m familiar with Subversion, Git, Mercurial, Monotone, CVS.
Operating Systems
I use Apple Mac OS X and I’m totally familiar with Unix/Linux. And Windows.
