I came across this new resource earlier today:
Make your New Year’s resolution learning to code.
Sign up on Code Year to get a new interactive programming lesson sent to you each week and you’ll be building apps and web sites before you know it.
I thought The Wife & Child may be interested to learn, but I needed to know what sort of level they were aiming at. As it happens, I’ve managed to learn a couple of things along the way myself. Bonus.
So, if you’ve ever thought about it, but not had the right resource, you have no excuse any more. Get along to Code Academy and sign yourself up. You won’t end up talking in binary, but you’ll have a better understanding of why developers are a bunch of cranky bastards.
