Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve finally managed to get The Missus (@loveli) to watch Mad Men. She sat and watched all three seasons back–to–back on the iPad. Thankfully, she enjoyed every minute of it just as much as I did.
As each season finished, she proclaimed it the best yet. I totally agree; the end of the third season was fantastic.
And now… they’re back with season four.
“Public Relations” started things off. I won’t give too much away in case you’ve not seen it, but we get new characters, new offices, and what seems to be a slightly grumpier Don Draper.
I spotted this on the wall of the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce office, which made me smile:
Okay, so Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce is a bit more of a mouthful than plain old Sterling Cooper. It also makes me think of “rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock” from The Big Bang Theory, but that’s beside the point.
I think I’ll need to watch it again to take everything in, but for now, I’ve had my fix. Already looking forward to the second episode on Sunday.
